it has to be 1 year from the time you applied and officer start reviewing your case, regardless of your asylum approval date

@Alex B so why my lawyer saying we can apply directly as I’m approved . because it’s a nunc pro tunc application

@Alex B I actually went for the interview today so hopefully in a couple of weeks . but I was already a derivative Asylee but couldn’t adjust under my dad anymore because he’s now a us citizen
