I dont understand why they do these things... I thought they supposed to conduct the background and before doing the interview and have everything clear just to make a decision... thats the only explanation of why they take sooooo long to give you an interview but I guess they just want excuses to keep delaying it... so so bad!

the same thing happened to me. I have no decision after my interview on Dec 3rd it just says “intenview was completed and must be reviewed”. The officer didn’t ask any questions about our marriage either, we been married less than 2 years. only asked for our marriage certificate.

@Angela, same happened on you?

I have the same experience but in my case My partner is USC. My interview was on March 2019. The officer finish the interview and gave me a letter with the same explanation "interview was completed and my case must be review".Until now not change on the status of my case and We already did 3 inquiries with my lawyer even my congressman sent a request for us but same answer all the time "our case is in line to be adjudicate before they can take a decision". Does anybody else is on this situation?

@Frank no, my case was approved but they did handled me the paper saying case in under review. but next day it was approved

@Angela, Congratulations! I think we got the same paper, but my case still have no updates

yeah I answered the other post you tagged me. thank you!. my phone updated right away saying new card is being produced and next day it both cases (i130 and i485) updated to case was approved

@Z.A how long have you waited so far after your interview?

@Kelvin What is the reason they gave you for no decision after interview? The IO told us to expect 4-6 weeks for background check complete. My 130 is still pending since 09/16/2019

@Z.A. which field office are u at? actually my IO had the paper ready before my interview. because when we got in the room, he showed me that paper and told us that we will get that after interview so our “no decision” is predesignated

First is because I believe but not sure because is a gay marriage and second my husband have a previous marriage @Frank

Actually I have an attorney during all this process. She is thinking to fax a letter to the director of USCIS to ask the reason of the long delay on the resolution to take a desicion on my I130 petition. She will do it next week so we'll see what will be the results to do that. @Frank and @Z.A.

my IO also told us that I130 should approve first before 485 , but most of cases are at the same time

@Z.A my 130 was just approved today 1/7/2021, submitted on 9/16/2019 with 485 to NBC, hope 485 will follow

I got the combo card in October, 2020, more than one year after filing. I used the expited request because I stated that I had financial loss due to no work more than one year my time line is 9/16/2019 concurrent file 485,130, 131, 765 10/19/2020 131 and 765 approved 11/16/2020 485 interview was scheduled 12/29/2020 interviewd at Newark NJ 1/7/2021 130 approved

hello all, my 485 was approved last week and the card is on the way I had my interview on 12/29/20, got RFE notice after one week , request for my employment history during OPT in 2014. My employer is called FINDREAM LLC, the boss was Kelly Huang, she was arrested in 2019 because of giving fake employment to international students. I got in there for two months and found out it was a fake company, so I left US immediately. I told the truth to USCIS for my experience in the RFE, then i was approved last week Hope it can help those have similar experience

USCIS can find out everything in the background check, so I suggest don’t hide anything to them

@H villar I got a letter for a second interview from USCIS. My lawyer fax the director of USCIS California. Hopefully they will approve on the spot because it's been 2 years since we filed our I130. Keep you post guys.

Yesterday we have a second interview with my husband and today my case move from interview was complete and case need to be review to Case was approved 👍.
