depending where they sent your case that’s how long it will take mine is in Nebraska and I read they are a bit faster in reviewing cases

@Svetlana Marthinolova.. 601-A is provisional waiver of the unlawful presence grounds of inadmissibility.. so basically you’re asking for a pardon so when you go back to your country for the interview you don’t get a bar.. like the 3,5 or 10 year bar.

@cintia alexandre: yes but it’s just so frustrating because they won’t even touch your file until they have your fingerprints taken. before Covid it use to take less than 5 weeks for bio appointment and now who knows!!! 😑😑😑😑

Waiting for mine to be approved , receipt date since 12/10/2019 had our biometrics appointment in 01/15/2020 and still waiting ours is Nebraska service center im hoping time goes by fast and they can review our case we’ve been in the process for 3 years already

@Cintia: I received mine as well.. July 7th. so it took 11 months for me to get it.. so I’m probably 6 months away from approval. (that will put me under their processing time which is 17-23 months for approval right now) and interview date will depend on how fast the embassy in my country is moving. where are you from?

Thomas I would like to tell you a date or at least a number but the thruth is no one know. Every case is different, my timeline is very similar as you wife’s and ever since I started this process and I downloaded this app Ive been seing people get approved after 8 months, 4 months, 22 months, 28 months… so it is very difficult to tell you. I can tell you this though, you have to be patient, and just pray for Nebraska to start moving faster. We are all in the same boat in this group, the good thing is, we all give support to each other. uscis announced a few days ago they will open more processing centers to speed up approvals I hope they move faster now

2-3 year is when do you send the waiver?601A

2-3 years from the date they received your waiver when they send you the letter they received your 601a you count from that time

My lawyer said 6-8 months at first, then it went to 13 months, now I'm hearing 23 months.

Case Receipt July 8th 2021, Biometrics done Sept 16 2021 Nebraska Office . Please let me know if anyone hears back soon as we are all a little over a year so hope to hear back soon! My question is do i have to have fingerprints take before the 601a is approve ???? Or can they be take at any time?

yohalmo you do have to have your fingerprints taken , if you don’t then your 601a would be denied , is best if you contact uscis and tell them you never got the appointment paper also you need to check your case online regularly you better do it quick or you’ll 601a will be dismissed and you have to pay again
