I submitted my brothers application on Jan 20 2020 and no decision. he had his biometrics in feb 2020.

omg Seyi R, I guess I have no reason to be complaining, considering you've been waiting for over a year. Mine had his biometrics done in July '21. Hope we get some positive results soon

heyy.. still waiting for my n600 since February 2021 but don't worry much is n600. one's is over 6 months of waiting .. u should be expecting something from uscis.. ..yes. u or his representative most accompany he to his interview and don't worry. he only gonna take the oath and that's it ... no extra questions like writing/reading for n600

hi sonny Williams! I filed on April 2021. they accepted expedited processing on June and the case changed to “actively reviewing”, I received a request for Primary evidence on 08/12. on 08/16 they received the 2 passport style photographs they requested. anything new since then. I talked to Emma and they said I have to wait 60 days after they receive my evidence.

I guess I need to make an inquiry if by 10/17 I haven’t heard from them. but I want to know if they can request more evidence or the fact they asked for the pictures means they don’t have any doubts

I know just how difficult this waiting can be, however, I can only encourage you to be patient. It will all be worked out in time.

Amanda, have you tried applying for your Passport while waiting, that is equal evidence of Citizenship, and alot of ppl are quite lucky in receiving their expedited passport in good time.

I am waiting for my son's n600 since April 2021. He has a passport !! but the strange thing is that they did not call him for biometrics

Yes still waiting, Biometrics was done in July '21 status says "Actively reviewing..." Received his passport though

From my understanding, I believe a biometrics is required; my son had his done in July '21 as stated above and we are still waiting. Got to be patient I guess

amanda i am in miami florida, my son has 12 years old and he has us passport. I thought that this process should not take long but it is too much waiting time

my status in USCIS is still.. a request for evidence was sent… they haven’t updated it but I have made a lo of inquiries . through the congressman representative, my lawyer called USCIS and also through the inquiry app. 🤣 in all of them the answer was, your case was approved in October 7th but you need to wait to be scheduled for the oath ceremony… I filed in late April 21 and in June I expedited the case. they lost my pictures and request new pictures in the Request for evidence in august. I sent the pictures 2 days after they issued the notice. they are too slow !!. I found out that the certificate will show the date you became a us citizen, in my case at birth.

yes it seems that in Miami Florida the estimated time range is 6.5 to 17.5 months. 17.5 is a lot!!

well my case is in hialeah office and times are 3.0 to 10 months. Amanda, how did you request the expedite?

3 months after the case was approved.. my case was expedited in June . I filed in April 2021. the case was approved on 10/7.. and today I got the notice with the date to take the oath. actually it says.. to pick up the certificate and then.. if you are older than 14yo you will take the oath.

@ramzey there are people who do not biometrics, my son is 12 years old and after 11 months they asked for biometrics, it seems too long to wait, the office that has the case has a processing time of 9 months for the n600 so no I get it

Got notification that oath Ceremony will be scheduled, should receive letter within 30 days it says. Its been 1 week short of a year waiting.

I’m having my citizenship interview next Friday .Hopefully I’ll have oath ceremony the same day . I have 2 kids , and going to apply for their passports before I’ll apply for N600. that’s why I was wondering how long time took getting your child passport.

Getting the passport is the easy part, you can have them expedited; we waited a bit to get our son's mainly due to the Covid backlog, but it should be better now. Best wishes on your interview

Well, it's final - Oath Ceremony is set for 05/07, we may need to reschedule since he's away from home with the Military at the moment but just wanted to encourage others who are waiting that there is light at the end of the tunnel after all. Best wishes everyone

I filed N600 for daughter on June 2020, yes 2020, Miami FL. October 2020 RFE, then silence until April 28 2022 (we are actively reviewing….), then May 23 2022 Approval Decision Rendered (case approved) approval notice mailed . 10 days later still waiting for the letter. Daugther was 17 years old when the process started, now is 19. No interview, no biometrics.

oh wow! Roberto if you log in to your USCIS Account you should be able to view the letter and print it js, the end is in sight. congratulations

At last! Never received the approval letter on the mail but just received the Oath Ceremony update and this time the letter has been uploaded to my account. Oath ceremony scheduled for June 27. I am so happy that I am dancing on my feet 😁 Two years and seven days between my case was received and oath ceremony.
