Approved, but PD is not current until next month
hey folks.
I got the New Card is being produced today. however my PD (July 2022) is not current until the October visa bulletin. I’ve heard stories about people being approved while not being current, but what’s more confusing is that I got CRP on July 19 specifically saying there’s no visa available.
could it be that they already start processing cases according to the October bulletin?

You should confirm from USCIS. Either they can rescind it or you would have a problem during citizenship. Do confirm if it's in error to avoid issues.

First of all, Congratulations!!!! Secondly, approval cases from uscis is somethinI that every applicants are hoping for. Btw, I have the same PD as you, July 2022. As much as I would love to hear a good news that my case is finally get approved, and at the same time, I wouldn’t want to have any more headaches with uscis if they approved my case while I’m not current. I have heard stories and stories about cases being approved by mistake from uscis. If I were you, I would contact uscis right away and talk to them about the situation, just to make sure it wasn’t by mistake they approve your case. Good luck!!!

Charlie S C is right. I had the interview today and my lawyer made sure at the end of the interview that gc number availability will be only in Oct. so the officer couldn't approve it today and we don't have any problems in the future and just so you know the lawyer is a former immigration procecutor.
