i think first one is automated when your biometrics reach them, the second one is more like an active progress where it is with an officer for review. not sure if they do all the background checks in between.

I had the same last week. I-130 became “actively reviewed” - the next day I got “case approved”. The I-485 changed to “request for rfe” (medicals) and immediately to “actively reviewed “ the second time. I sent them my medicals last week and today they updated to “ref was received”. So waiting for approval 🙏

Like said spirit 2023 mi Mother in law was like that. her case was update and 4 days before was update again with "case is being actively...", and like 10 days before was approved.

@Spirit 2023 I have the receipt numbers. I just created my own account to check updates, I realized that my online access code was expired. I did request the new code from USCIS already.

my case is same my PD 06/06/2022 biometric 07/14/2022 after I take the biometric i485,i130,i765 change to case is actively reviewing by uscis so September 15/2022 update for RFE and medical exam in the same day change 3 time for case is actively reviewing by Uscis march 9/2023 I receive notification in my phone screen you case is actively reviewing by Uscis i485 only this want

Mine was reviewed twice first one on the 05/01/2022 and second on the 21/02/2023 until now nothing changed

@Spirit 2023 my case is the same situation with you. but after I have sent my medical exam, it changed to response is received. Then case is being actively reviewed. Then nothing, please share how long you get approved for I-485 after medical exam. thank you
