My husband and I had an interview in April. They asked few questions about the form and showed little interest in his employer, only asking for the name. They seemed surprised that my husband had already started working. However, they asked many questions about the medical examination, such as where we had it done, the name of the doctor, the name of the clinic, and whether we could describe the people who conducted the blood test and delivered the results. A few days later, we received a Request for Evidence (RFE) to retake the exam.

@Milly M Thank you for your response. So were you and your husband interviewed together? Are you also in eb3 unskilled category? And what is your visa status?

@Milly M any reason why they asked about your medicals ?

@Nk T Yes, we were interviewed together with our baby. We are in the same EB3 unskilled category. We were on F1 visas, but we already had work authorization and had completed our F1 status. My husband only started working a year after he got his work permit.

@Milly M Thank you. What questions did they ask you in specific like your status and employment?

@immu s He informed us in the letter we received that the doctor was no longer authorized. However, when we went to see it , it was based on the list of doctors provided by immigration, so that was impossible. Furthermore, it had been two years since we had the exam.

@Nk T They asked how we got here and with what visa. Regarding the employer, they didn't even know which company it was. They asked for the name and how much they were going to pay my husband per hour. They were surprised when my husband said he had already started the job; he looked shocked and said, 'Already?' Those were the only questions about that. The other questions were: Have you ever received tickets here in the United States? Have you ever been involved in anything related to drugs or prostitution? Have you ever participated in any acts of terrorism? These were questions from the I-485. However, the part that took a long time was the exam. They asked a lot of questions and wrote down everything we said. They even asked for a translator for me, because there came a point when I thought I didn't understand why there were so many questions. They asked who took the exams, who submitted them, if the person was tall or short, what type of hair they had—questions that seemed a bit strange to us. After all, it had been two years; how could we remember? That was easy, except for the part about the doctor, which we found a bit strange.

@Nk T Also, They will send you a letter to schedule the date of the interview and inform you which documents you need to bring on that day.
