Case Ranking in Lawfully App
please forgive me if this question has been asked or if it is a silly question ....
I recently subscribed to the pro edition of the lawfully app in order to monitor our status. when I first did this it showed my ranking as 186th. I interpreted that to mean that I was 186th in line and expected that number to drop as cases ahead of ours progressed into an interview or decision status. however when I checked the app today, my number has increased to 188th. Can someone please explain the proper way to read this information? Thank you!

it means someone with a better date joined this app after you have joined... so your position in the queue can go high or low.

This app is just based on cases of ppl who joined the app not every single case that uscis is handling....it’s not accurate

yeah, someone who applied before you joined the app.

Some people have cancelled their subscription because the numbers keep shifting as many people who filed earlier join the app and the numbers becoming alarming . The anxiety this can create is something you need to worry about too. Do you want to wake up every day to see you position move backwards?

In my humble opinion the pro subscription is not worth it since the margin of error is high and predictions solely depends on who is on the app not the volume of applications being handled by USCIS (Which is most critical).
I wanna support the Developer of the app but at $10/month for predictions that have a big margin of error and low confidence level, $10 is a lot to ask. Most applications take about a year from filing to final results. So if you go pro that would be $120 in year for Pro Subscription.
I really wish the developer had a better model to support him/her without using a very expensinve subscription model. and most of us end up subscribing because as you know, US Immigration can be frustrating, confusing, headaches and hopeless which can push someone into subscribing seeking a peace of mind. If only predictions were more accurate.
If you have the money, subscribe at all means. It will give you a little peace of mind knowing how you rank (loosely) but if you are not doing well financially, then do not bother as the basic predictions will still give you the roughest idea.
And remember, the reason you are here in the first place was so that you can track your case automatically and have push notifications when status changes. Going Pro wont speed up your USCIS processing times.
I hope the developer can come up with a way to support his/her work without charging so much. $10/month is expensive.
