case remains pending, thinking to go to school
I am working for the sponsor for about an year or so. I just want to take 1 class or 2 classes per semester while my case is being processed. Do you think this is going to be a problem in case I have an interview at USCIS?

nobody can stop you for chasing your interest. You can just answer if asked in the interview that you wanna grow in every aspects. "Yes" you were hired by a company for Permanent job but you want to make it interesting for yourself. It does not matter if you go school during this interval of time.

some questions to think about - has it been more than 6 months after the sponsorer applied for the I-485 for you? are you sure your priority date will remain current throughout ? have you received your interview has been waived ? USCIS has complete jurisdiction to deny your I-485 petition if the choose to . I don’t think they would do it as they seldom do such scrutiny. consult a lawyer before taking your action. in a thread you will get some opinion but it’s all the opinions of unprofessional lawyers. hope this helps .

you’ll be fine. If you worry, find online classes.
