Wait till Monday and keep me posted should anything change on Monday. I keep wondering if that was an error on their page. Got approved 28 and changed to fingerprints applied like yours on the 29th. But my kids still shows new cars being produced. However, you can check on your USCIS. gov and log into your account, it should still have approved below the fingerprints applied.

Same happened with my case, it was approved on 7/27 and status updated back to fingerprints taken on 7/29. Received Approval notice on 7/30. The online case status still shows fingerprints taken. None of the statuses so far mentioned about card being ordered or produced.

I don't think there's any cause for alarm, I received an approval notification in the mail yesterday for I-485. What is not clear is, it was stated in the letter that you may be called for biometric before GC is being issued. Am guessing it's the same biometric that is already applied after I-485 update. Should anyone have a different update, kindly post in here.

I received the same notice yesterday with the same content… supposedly we just need to wait until status changes to card produced…

I called USCIS, they told me that the day the status changed to fingerprints taken they sent a request to print the card. We just need to wait on this.

Hello we both have i131 approved in Jan 2021 but now it shows case was updated to show fingerprints were taken on my dependent case but nothing on mine. We sent our medical rfe 2 days ago and it’s updated to request of eveidence received. what does that mean (about new update on fingerprints) any idea? thanks

hey guys , yesterday same thing happen to me ! I got approved on 17th and waiting for card to be delivered but all of sudden my status changes to finger taken .. I got my approval as wel ! really this status made me sleepless ! any insight how many days you got your card

Same here. My I-485 was approved on December 14, 2022 but the status went back to show fingerprints were taken on December 29, 2022. No updates since then. At this point, I’m losing hope and thinking I may have to wait until the 90 day mark and call them to look into it.

My case was approved February 4, 2024. Since then no action was taken. I reached out to a Senator and she inquired about the case on April 3, 2024. Then on April 4, I realized my case moved to fingerprint was taken. I’m hoping in a few days time it’ll be good news, based on these experiences.
