Geez. It's unbelievable. I received the response from my e-request today. Same thing as you shared with us before. "we appreciate your continued patience". Again, I think we will get good news early 2025. I have a feeling that Trump would be willing to compensate the "mass deportation" with legal migrants. The Republicans have the control of the Senate and the House of Representatives. I suspect they're cooking something good. Fingers crossed.

@Kar NIW i140-Nov 2023’ Question about your post: what do they mean when they said: in February you will be able to file a request for an enquiry? Is it different from the e-request that you filed already and received the "standard response"?

@eb2 guy The officer referred to the exact same e-request that my attorney has already addressed, and I received the same response as others have. Unfortunately, there is no new information provided.

enquiry doesn't mean anything. I filed my request 2 weeks ago and I got the response today: "Due to the high volume of work we are currently receiving, it may take longer to provide you with a final adjudicative decision. We appreciate your continued patience."

the situation may get worse as the service center in vermont is closing and all their business will be divided between nebraska and texas

I just have seen the USCIS quarterly report, and the number of pending i140 NIW is insane 🤯

Additionally @Evgenii Sharipov , there are plans for a new location to commence operations in Nebraska, which may further impact the timeline and processes., So we might have to wait and see, to understand the full implications. At the end No one knows, but them!

hi @Kar NIW i140-Nov 2023’, the thing is, when uscis introduced the pp for niw, they stated that the pp would not have an impact on the regular processing, but we know that is not like that. also if you go in "reducing the processing backlog" webpage, they are still claiming to push hard to process the regular i140 in 6 months, which is false. I totally agree with you that we can't do anything, just wait and see, but I think some law firms need to start an action on USCIS.
