Completed Interview but Priority Date is not current? (EB3-3 Unskilled)
I just finished my Interview today, and the officer said everything looks good. He gave me a paper that said my 485 is good and seems approvable, but that my priority date is not current.
My pririoty date is april 2020. I went to the visa bulletin for august and it shows me 2 charts for current priority dates. The first chart for the EB3 others category (unskilled) says that the PD is May 2019, but the second chart shows that the EB3 others category is Current.
Why do they differ??
I am ROW, PD april 2020, interview finished, biometrics done, EAD card all approved and recieved.
any help understanding the visa bulletin would be appreciated. Am I current or not?

i had interview last month of June 27 but no update. my PD is 08-30-2019 still waiting my card.
Thye use filing date so we are not current. thank you 🙏🏻 and good luck 👍

First of all congratulations on the approval, I believe it is only a matter of time before you have your green card in hand. As for the visa bulletin boxes, the first box refers to the date when you can receive your green card and the second box refers to the date you can file the process.

yes, pd is not current to file you would see filling date, to get approved you would see final action chart

@josh Hyun how long did it take to schedule your interview? Since June 16th my status is: case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. I wonder every day how long does it take to have it scheduled. Congratulations. The new fiscal year starts in October. You’ll probably hear back from them after October. 🎉

i got my interview done as the same informed but no paper is handed to me, I am so worry that I chat with Emma each week. a week ago, I found out they moved my case back to NBC. Hopefully, October is current and my PD is 09/21/2020
