I think the NBC it’s faster! my VAWA case was approved at Vermont and then transferred to NBC. my green card was approved 2/3 months after the transfer

@God is good Thank you for your response. That is the what I read online too. I just pray my VAWA get approved as soon as possible so my I-485 can be treated.

mine was transferred to Lee summit too...vawa was approved Oct 24 in Vermont. dec 24 2024, they requested for medicals. medicals was received feb6..waiting patiently for 1-485 approval and GC sent to me.

My case was transferred to NBC last month, and I-360 is still pending in Vermont. Once VAWA is approved, I-485 will be transferred to your field office.

NBC does not process Vawa only Nebraska and Vermont process Vawa.

I’m just curious if they have to approve Vawa in Vermont first , why then do they have to transfer i485 to another field office before approval.

@Mighty Popson For vawa based cases, Vermont and Nebraska receive i360, i485, i765, i131, but they do not adjudicate i485; they send it over to NBC. Only NBC processes i485 and then forwards it to your uscis local field office.
