EAD L2 Vermont Center
Anyone with i765 L2 that got approved recently in Vermont Center? I just want to know when should I expect the status to change… Are the L2 taking more time to process than others i765? thanks!

Filed 5th March at Vermont and still waiting - EADs in general are taking longer (I am E2). My EAD expired in the meantime.

hi! I’m on the same boat. L2 at Vermont, pending since May 14th. Current EAD is going to expire in a couple of weeks

I have heard they are processing March cases…but not sure if they’re L2/E2 visas… hopefully you are about to receive it, @Emma! the wait is so frustrating…let’s see if someone else responds with some positive news!🤞🏽

May 27th, still pending, out of job since sep. It SEEMS that it takes them one month to complete applications which where filed for each month, meaning that March filers should receive it by Nov, Apr ones by Dec and May by Jan. Let’s hope Xmass doesn’t impact it.

I am guessing the same…hopefully it will be our Xmas present. @EmmaH could you let us know once you receive it? thanks!!

I just got my E2 renewal approved on Friday… for my July application, not the March one!! (my March application would expire in January due to i94 date so I had to apply for my next renewal during the wait time) so they are doing something in Vermont, just no logic as to how they choose their processing order!!

I don’t even need it now with the new ruling saying E2 spouses don’t need an EAD - but fingers crossed that will help USCIS process all applications a LOT quicker. There seems to be a new lawsuit every week!
L RNov 21, 2021
yes…mine is new application so I still have to wait until the EAD arrives or until they create the new I-94 for spouses(they are saying it could take 4 months)

any idea after this March end according to new rule can we work directly with L2 visa without ead approval
L RJan 9, 2022
yes, they just have to update the i94 to distinguish between spouse and children. it’s supposed to be changed by March 10 they say…and with that we could work
