EB2 Priority Date Porting to EB1
We have placed a request on April 25 to port EB2 (PD: Dev 2020) Priority date to EB1 (PD Mar 2022).
On May 11th we received an update on I-485 case status which was just the repeate of previous case status of Case Remains Pending.
I am curious to know if the PD on EB1 was updated? and looking for ideas to find this information?

same boat as you. what was the status before you send a letter to the USCIS? I sent my letter to the USCIS on May 1, no change in the status

previous status was CRP as well

i did the same thing. while filing i485 after eb1 i1140 approval,we attached my eb2 i1140 approval notice as well and requested them to consider the eb2's earlier priority date. So later the i485 receipt that i got had the updated eb2 priority date for me for my eb1 i485 application.

while first of all my 485 was filled concurrently, so i didn’t have that choice to port the date along with filling. Also, at the time of my EB1 filling my EB2 i140 was not approved so couldn’t port.
The CRP update is from USICS itself i saw it on the USICS website

@tamil mct i worked with an attorney to send a letter to the USCIS to use my earlier priority date

@tamil mct My attorney drafted this letter. So, i am not sure abt the exact format. Since you are so close to filing your i485, I highly recommend you work with an attorney, so that they can include the legal jargon while submitting the lett we
