Expedite process
Good morning everyone!
is there any chance of requesting expedited process for a scholarship? My friend got a scholarship from his workplace, he is being accepted to a Doctorate program and he is waiting his Green Card, from his job they informed they cannot adjudicate the scholarship unless he becomes a Green Card Holder, his case is not outside of normal processing time, he asked me if he could submit an expedite request with the letter from his job, but I am not sure if that qualifies, anyone has more knowledge about it?

@Aileen Gonzalez Gutierrez Hi, you can find online reasons for an expedit. Depends also on how fast he needs this done. It would not hurt to ask.

That is not a reason to expedite.
But your friend does not lose anything by trying.

@William U @Aileen Gonzalez Gutierrez From what I have learned about expedites, you can get lucky and it does not hurt to ask. Your friend might get lucky. But it is not a typical reason.
