Hi, flying to Puerto Rico is not different than flying to NYC or Chicago or LA. Your ID and that's it. If you're flying with a passport, that's the same thing. A foreign passport is an acceptable ID form for TSA. The only difference about flying to Puerto Rico is that once you're leaving you'd need to go thru agricultural inspection, but that's about it. Sometimes CBP can be seen around the gates and it's within their jurisdiction to stop whoever they want. Just bring with you your I797C's and you should be absolutely fine. The fact that you have a pending application means they cannot deport you. Trust me, even before applying for my green card I flew to Puerto Rico million of times and never had a problem, and I was illegal af. Good luck!

Oh wow! I mean I would fly all over the 50 states before applying for my green card with just my foreign passport, now I have a drivers license and my EAD card.

I had been traveled Puerto Rico with my drivers license! ( I carried my passport just in case tho) no issue at all, it’s just same as you are flying any part of states. and Puerto Rico is beautiful love out there! leave all your anxiety but enjoy!

I did it last year using my passport, no issue as it's considered domestic. they just look at your passport like an ID
