Green Card in hand
it’s been since 2019. I just want to thank God for the patience and grace to keep my sanity and grant me strength to hold on. I am grateful to the people that have helped me here so far. I just want to thank you all. I am grateful to this app - lawfully. it has really helped me. I will still stick around to continue to encourage others and chip in my two-cents. it’s been tough, but I am grateful to this family here and to God in heaven and my family that kept encouraging me. 2019- first I-485 2020 - VAWA application 2022- second I-485 2024- March VAWA approved 2024 - June medicals was received my USCIS. 2024 - December, I-485 approved. 2025 - Green card at hand.

@prazzi S : I am in same situation with you. I submitted my medical 91 days ago , but mine didn’t showed up in uscis system, even when it sent out and received by them. I am really disappointed . did you send your rfe to field office or NBC ?

@prazzi S Thank you. I am from Maryland and I had my case in Vermont. Although it looks like some of my applications get moved around, after I already submitted to Vermont. Eg. I submitted my Advanced Parole to Vermont, it was sent to Texas office. Then, Texas returned it to Vermont, before the approval last month.

@Emran pacha . I checked. it’s been a while too. However, your case will continue to be pending and unattended until your VAWA has been approved. if your VAWA is approved, then the time your case has been waiting will count. Thus improving your priority date. I wish you good luck my friend.

She found one lawyer, but the fees are quite high and she can’t afford them. I wanted to know if it’s possible for her to complete the process on her own, or if it’s really necessary to hire a lawyer. Your insight would be greatly appreciated, especially if you have any recommendations for affordable legal resources or organizations that might be able to assist. Thank you so much for your help!
