@Idan !!! I believe so. You were supposed to fill out and submit Form I864W (Request for Exemption for Intending Immigrant’s Affidavit of Support), but that form has been archived and is no longer available on their website. On the most recent I485 form, you can fill out Part 3 on page 8 instead. I’m not sure if you need to complete the entire I485 form again. That would be a lot of work. If you do, all the information has to match what you originally submitted years ago. Filling out just Part 3, page 8 might be enough, but I’ll let others chime in too and share their thoughts.

I got a similar request but they wanted a proof which I don't need because VAWA is self petition. So my lawyer wrote a letter in addition to those proofs and my VAWA approval was added. I don't know exactly what they sent you. Mine was proof of relationship with the person filing for me which in that case, it doesn't apply to me. My initial I-485 was filled out with the exemption.

@Dee Grace They actually made mistake with my case. They requested i864 which does not apply to me as an approved VAWA applicatnt. I provided the sponsor cos I was not in the position to tell them what to do. My money hungry attorney didn’t object cos he wanted $1500 to respond to the rfe and I said no. after two weeks, I got another rfe requesting for this exemption which they were suppose to request for in the first place. Hoping for the best after this. Does anyone known the response time after they get what they requested!
