Attorney for VAWA charges High. Pls, do not go for Cheap Attorney bcos you might regret it later due to poor services. Though, this is my opinion

Would highly recommend attorney and mine had a payment plan. I think it’s worth it than trying to do it on your own. Also, try to put your I-485 in abeyance as soon as you can. My ex withdrew the initial petition and that cost me more money as I had to file again… Most importanlty though, I separated from my ex two years ago and the peace and happiness I feel now is super super worth it. @envee o find an attorney their is so many that they give you payments plants and affordable just my opinion you can file a single mistake that may risks your opportunity to get your green card

@envee o I filed by myself without any lawyer. so far everything is good. I got 3 prima facie, work authorization with advance and no RFE. you can file yourself without those corrupted lawyers 😂 I think nothing difficult to file vawa and other forms.

@envee o to be honest those lawyers will just fill out the form and check your written statement. that’s all. if you have all evidences then just file by yourself. those lawyers make a lot of mistakes and don’t care about clients. if you have marriage documents then you need just collect abuse documents such as police reports, restraining orders if not then go to psychologist and get your friends affidavits. don’t forget get online FBI clearance. nothing complicated to file it.

I think my lawyer put it in abeyance before sending the application. Would recommend consulting with an attorney tho also some lawyers do a free consultation maybe that’d help
