my i-130 was approved after 25 months

mine is same. i just mailed i1824 yesterday. how long you wait to get notification that you i1824 they accept?

after two weeks I receive my receipt

they should not take time to approve. cause i130 already approved so no reason to take long. 😢

We are filing I-130 but we received in Approval Letter that uscis will retain it since we made a mistake filing i130

So they requested us to file for i824 for them to send our petition to NVC

then dont late just follow the instructions. file i824

We are confused since when we are checking additional evidence- we should send i797 unless i824 will be rejected. So the approval letter is the same on the I130 case number?

But you mentioned numbers on the top left side is the i797 case number on the approval notice. As per checking, it's the same on our i130 case number.

aproval notice is i797. if the instructions tokd u to file i824 then just do it. when u file i824 eend thek the the copy of your approval letter

I left blank the section AOS and visa abroad on my apllication (I-130)

now I request uscis to send my approved petition to nvc because my spouse and is outside

I accidentally wrote AOS in both places even though the beneficiary is outside the states

looks like the trend is they will transfer the case 3 mnths after filing I’ve seen some with the same experience
