I-130 Unsolicited Evidence (will it help?)
Hi everyone!
My PD is July 28th, 2023, and my case entered the "Actively being reviewed by USCIS" status on October 21st, 2023.
I'm looking for some guidance regarding uploading additional evidence to support my bonafide marriage through the Unsolicited Evidence upload tab. The challenge I'm facing is that my spouse lives abroad, which prevented us from sharing joint bank statements and a joint lease/rent. Thus, In my initial package, I submitted engagement party photos, wedding photoshoot pictures, various photos of us with family members in different locations, our marriage certificate*,* civil status documents for both of us indicating our marital status, with each other and screenshots of our publicly shared photos on Instagram.
Now, I'm considering submitting pictures of gifts we exchanged, tickets from visits I made before and after our marriage, and some other supporting evidence. However, I'm concerned whether this additional documentation might cause a delay in my case.
I would greatly appreciate your thoughts and advice on whether I should proceed with submitting this additional evidence. Have any of you been in a similar situation, and if so, did it impact the processing time?
Thank you in advance for your insights!

@Ian Mustafa i wanted to do that as well but my lawyer told NO that USCIS will not accept any documents unless they ask for it , my PD was 05/17/23

wait until USCIS put you on RFE( Request For Evidence)

Lawyer is wrong you can always add pictures to strengthen the relationship. I added pictures from 2 trips I took to go see my wife while we waiting...
I can't tell you if it helped with my approval but I am darn sure it did not do any harm.

when my husband applied for USCIS I sent in all of the documents that you mentioned (my husband is also abroad, I am a U.S. citizen). I also sent screenshots of some of our conversations with the date showing at the top, as well as plane tickets from all the times I went to see him. my lawyer actually told me to do all that. it won’t delay your case. if anything, it will help it. I’m not sure however if sending pictures of gifts that you’ve exchanged would help at all, because they don’t actually know who’s gifts those are and there’s not really ways of telling. other than that you should be good. I did all of those things too for my husbands case. it doesn’t impact the processing time. you’re just showing proof which helps.
