Hello LAWFULLY Community, I hope everyone is doing well! I wanted to reach out and see if anyone has any updates or news regarding the new Form I-131F. Have any of you received approvals or heard anything new? We know that waiting can be stressful, and it would be great to hear about your experiences. How are things going for you in this process? Please share any updates you have, as it might be helpful for others in the community. Looking forward to hearing from you! Thanks and stay strong,

there currently won't be any new approvals during the 14-day stay place by the judge. it is very likely after the 14 days expire that a new stay will take place but this time it will be much longer.

@M M Texas along with 15 other republican-led states filed a lawsuit against the DHS and President Biden to challenge the concept of Parole in Place / PiP / Keeping Families Together / I-131F, stating it's unconstitutional. As @William U correctly states, the judge for now has issued a 14 day stay. During that time, no I-131F cases can be processed, though new applications can continue to be accepted. Any I-131F applications that were processed and approved prior to the 14 day stay going into effect will be fine. If the 14 day stay expires, then cases can continue to be processed. However, the judge, who was appointed to the bench by Donald Trump, may choose to continue that stay, and it's likely he will. My personal opinion is that this is political theater. At the very most, Keeping Families Together would only benefit about 550,000 people who've already been in the US and functioning in society for 10 years or longer - many have been in the USA for a few decades at this point. Many of those eligible would likely not even apply for it. That said, depending on how the judge rules and how this plays out in the court system, it could hold up the I-131F program for months at minimum and whether it actually goes into full effect likely depends heavily on who wins the presidential election in a few months.

Absolutely, I'm in full agreement.
