Hello everyone!
I have a question about my RFE.
I had my interview on January 28, 2022 and the officer said that I need it to retake my medical examen since I applied for my Green Card back in October 2019. I got my RFE February 1st, 2022 and sent my results February 5th, 2022 to the Sacramento FO (California).
I know it’s still pretty soon, but how long does it usually take for them to make a decision? The officer said that everything was fine, she just needed the medical record in order to approve my case.
I have my brother’s wedding in Spain in 20 days and I had everything planned to attend it but the officer took my AP in the interview and I can’t leave now. I’m kinda desperate right now. My case status doesn’t even show that they sent me a RFE. I don’t know if that’s normal too.

@ Mary October 2019, I am in the same boat with you. i applied for GC since November 14 2019, had two interviews responded to request for evidence i601, to be precise and I got approved after a year plus. after several services request on December 10 2021, I got request for medical so that USCIS can make a final decision according to the letter they sent to me. on January 2 2022 I responded to the request for evidence on January 7 2022 USCIS received it according to usps, since then I haven’t heard back from them. my their policy they have up to 30,60, or 90 day’s before the reply to your response. hopefully we not have to wait up to 90 days. but here is my advice for you though in the event that USCIS, don’t make a decision after 90 days you should seek your approval in Court. I don’t want you to wait like this guy 👆 up there called Kelly Gra, I don’t know why his chose to wait for 4 years after he submitted request for medical. that means the medical had expired two times 😀

OMG! what’s your field office? I can’t believe how slow is this process… It’s really frustrating.
I will contact them again after 30 days, and I will see what they say…
unfortunately I don’t think I’m going to be able to attend my brother’s wedding and that breaks my heart 💔😭
