I’m currently waiting for an update on my I-485 application and just received a notification that a new I-765 card is being produced, even though my current work authorization card is valid until 2025. Has anyone else experienced this situation?

your current EAD is it C09 or C031?? if a new card is being produced it means your vawa has been approved and a new EAD C031 is being produced

@haada haada my vawa has been approved since September last year, I have a pending I-485 ( adjustment of status) and I have an EAD C031 in my possession that will expired in 2025.

did you file I-765 with your application? if yes, then it’s ead C09. You only get ead c31 when vawa is approved and if you submit I-765 with your application, you get another ead under C09. In my case I got c31 valid for 2years, c09 valide for 2 years and ead/ap combo card valid for 5 years. don’t know what I’m supposed to do with all…lol. if it is your green card like some people mentioned here, then your update will be for 485 and not 765.

I have advanced parole can i use it to travel to my country for a month will I be allowed back into USA?

I filed in 2020 for vacation and was denied july 2023 because I moved and didn't changed my address so I missed the medicals mail sent to me before I could do the medical and sent I was denied. I reapplied December 2023 I got my advance parole in July 2024. my tracking has been ahow finger print taken
what will probably be the next step or mail to receive?
