I-751 and N-400
Hello, I just sent my N-400 online on Feb 26th 2024 and I got NOA & Biometrics reused at the very next minute on the account tab. But it says the case is actively reviewed by Uscis. l applied under the 3 year role, and still have my I-751 pending for a year now. Anyone in the same situation please share your experience #N-400 #751 #NBC

same situation. I applied on Nov 13th 2023. my pending I-751 got approved a month after I applied for N-400. N-400 online. Case changed to actively being reviewed almost immediately with biometrics reuses as well. Case actively being reviewed now since Nov 13th 2023.

@Johnny Walker congrats on the I-751. So you didn’t get or won’t get a combo interview for I-751 and N400?
Johnny WalkerFeb 28, 2024
@John Smith it seems not. Only the N-400. My I-751 was approved without an interview. I’m not sure if they interview for I-751 separately.
Johnny WalkerFeb 28, 2024
I’m confused about N-400. is it processed by the major immigration centers or the field offices?
John SmithFeb 28, 2024
@Johnny Walker don’t take my word for granted, I believe it goes first to NBC and then when it’s ready, to your local office. Obviously they won’t make you drive or travel across the country for the interview…. good to know your case was good enough for not having the I-751 interview
John SmithFeb 28, 2024
@Johnny Walker if you don’t mind me asking, what did you provide for the I-751?
Johnny WalkerFeb 29, 2024
@John Smith Of course man! at first I wanted to submit just a few documents like the marriage contract and a bank statement and rental lease. However, I had a lawyer and he said that I have to submit documents as if I’m applying to the green card for the first time. So I ended up submitting everything I had for at least three or four months. You name it. Banke statements. Electricty bills. tax returns. Tickets of us traveling. Car insurance with both of our names on it. We also had an approval letter to buy a house. We submitted it. Anything with both of our names on it. My son’s birth certificate. If I remember anything else I’ll mention you :)
Johnny WalkerFeb 29, 2024
@John Smith Actually not for four months, i just remembered. I submitted everything again for the past two years since my wife and I met
John SmithFeb 29, 2024
@Johnny Walker thank you! I did about the same and thought it was a lot. especially bank statements. we take a lot of pics so I also bombarded them with it in a chronological order
Johnny WalkerFeb 29, 2024
@John Smith You’re welcome. Good luck!
