I-765 (EAD) - Processing Time (PD December 2020, NBC)
Any December 2020 I-765 petitions (NBC) that got their EADs already? I did biometrics in March 2020.

Jarek, mine took about 3 weeks after the bio. Two for the online status to change and third week had my card in the mail......also NBC.

my PD is December 2020, had biometrics mid February in the Bronx and have had no decision or RFE. However yesterday my i485 was updated to “ready to be scheduled for interview” but that could still be a year wait from what I’ve read from others. I saw September filers who had their bios in Feb and had a decision in a few weeks but I don’t think that’s the norm.

@Claire - your biometrics were a month sooner than mine, hopefully you get EAD soon.
I am just wondering, is your case processed also by NBC? and your process is through AOS?
It is really frustrating to see timelines over 6 months. Please ping here once your EAD is approved, I should then expect it after a month I am guessing.

@jarek Yes, main application processed at NBC, biometrics at the Bronx and likely to have my interview in Albany. AOS through USC spouse: i485, i130 and i765

Is your AOS? was your fingerprints applied to i485, i765 and i131?

yes AOS, fingerprints applied to i485 and i765. On my invite it said it is only for the two, not i131 are you in the same boat, no decision yet?

@jarek - yes i stil see i131 shows as case received. so weird.. still no update on my EAD or 131.
are you planning to expedite?

I think I will have to, I am loosing my mind over it. I am very close to a job offer and I am really nervous what to say if I don’t get it in time. Are you NY also? Did you expedite?

i131 says the same, just that it was received, nothing else.

no i havent expedited yet. but I believe will soon need to. i am in NJ.
if you expedite before i do please share your experience and thoughts.
NBC is terribly slow. The other service centres like Vermont and Nebraska are fast!!
this is crazy.. everyday this waiting game is a torture.. good luck with you. hope you get yours soon..🤞🏻

No nothing. I got a job offer last Friday and I am terrified of losing the job. I have expedited as well before but I have not heard back, only that RFE response was received. I want to call them tomorrow and give update on the job offer. But god this does not let me sleep how slow it is.
