i485 adjudication EB2 to EB1 porting

I have an approved EB2 I-140 with priority date 08/24/2016. On 11/4/2022 I filed I-485 and EB1C I-140 concurrently. my EB1C I-140 was approved on 02/22/2023 and the approval notice reflects my EB2 priority date (08/24/2016). Since there has been a new approved I-140 post filing of I-485 do I need to tag my i485 to the EB1C I-140? #EB1C

yes. you need to file485j

thanks dak zeke. I confirmed with my attorney and they mentioned that since my 485 is filed concurrently with my EB1C I140 they would not need to file I-485j

I would still advise to get a service request just to be sure that the PD has successfully ported for the I-485
