Many are getting I485J fee waived notice as USCIS is going through EB applications. It's a sign that your case was looked at by an Officer.

@ Marco I guess you can do interfiling for medicals before USCIS sends you RFE. I found the following article which can help you. However, consult your lawyer. How do I send an interfile request to USCIS? Prepare a medical interfile cover page to the USCIS Service Center address stated on your I-485 application receipt notice. Below is sample text you can use on the cover page to send to USCIS: **INTERFILE** File No: A-Number: Applicant Name: Medical Exam Enclosed PLEASE ADD TO APPLICANT’S FILE **INTERFILE** Prepare this cover letter and send with a copy of your I-485 receipt notice and medical records packet.

Here are my times lines: EB2: I485 Filing date : 7/19/21 (Medicals filed with the application) Biometrics : 8/18/21 (no change to USCIS status yet) I 485J -received a Fee waived Receipt on 10/27/21. Does this mean I'm close to getting I 485 approved or an interview scheduled?

some are waived some arent. There is no saying who will get interview waiver.

Sent updated notice that Biometrics were applied to my file. PS: I have EAD and AP which i received as dependent. I-485J Receipt Notice : May 5th : 31 Days
