I485 More than 2 years and still waiting (IT Field)
How long should we wait? so unfair seeing newly submitted application got approval within a year. Heard they're working fast on the new fillings to look good on their timeline, but forgot to process old applications. USCIS is so dumb doing this

I think around 10% cases are stuck like this. no obvious work around. you can keep pinging congressman , senator, ombudsman etc You can also try mandamus as it has been 2 years now. no one knows what will work.

@SRC 21318 looks like fillings for 2020 and 2021 are stuck, they processing more who files in 2022

it's sad mine I'd January 2020 I do have friends whose cases are stuck since 2019, many approvals from 2022 and 2021. What's going on honestly? I lost my grandmas and aunty they denied me AP. I have been hopeless, nursing depression and anxiety 🙃

I contacted congresswoman office and they called me to inform me that they have placed an inquiry to the field office and will let me know within 4weeks. I am waiting since I sent my RFE on Oct 2022
