I485J-Form G-28 Was Rejected Because It Was Improperly Filed

Hi, I received my I485J Receipt notice and along with that I also received Form G-28 Was Rejected Notice, where it mentions that My G28 form was not accepted and request to send a new G28 through my Legal representative. But in my case I did not go through Lawyer and I self filed all my applications -I485, I765, I131 & I485J. Am unsure why I got this reject notice and not sure what to do from my end. Appreciate some insights.

SB - you shouldn't file the G-28 if you don't have an immigration lawyer. that's what that form is for, for a lawyer/acreditated representative to represent you/the petitioner. you can't file that for yourself. so, that's probably why USCIS rejected it.

Hi Thank you for responding, I just wanted to add I never submitted G28 form in first place. so I am not sure why I got the reject notice

SB - ok. that's weird then. looks like USCIS is already in Holiday mode. they seem to be making so many mistakes lately. 😨
