my lawyer sent my medical without an rfe. I’m waiting

my vawa has been approved last week and my approval card sent out on Friday. my lawyer asked me to complete my medical and to make two recent photo ready so he can send my vawa approval, medical record and two passport size photo along with a letter to ask USCIS continue my i485 application. I'm also thinking to contact my congress man after my lawyer send all those documents. my i485 has been submitted on Feb 2020

@naomi bushira My lawyer also sent a letter to USCIS informing me that my VAWA was approved and that they could process my 485, but I'm still waiting for some news! I have two cards and in the C31 category.

My lawyer told me that I have to wait for USCIS to send the RFE for the medical exam before he can submit it. I’ve already completed my medical exam.

lawyers are saying different things, but it should be straightforward and consistent.

you need to reach out to your congress man to exepedite your case. my vawa has been approved through my congress man

@Botswana 🇧🇼 . Dear, the I-485 status will change anytime until 1 year roughly. So please be patience. I know very few took 2 years for the GC. God bless !

my dear don’t worry you will soon hear..my VAWA was approved in December ..medical in February..biometric in May and i864-w in September..just got approved yesterday without interview.
