L1A > EB1C : Approved EAD(i-765) and AP(i-131), pending i-140/i-485.... what if I get fired?
I currently have an L1A visa.
I've have an in-process green card EB1C as follows:
- approved EAD form i-765,
- approved AP i-131
- pending i-140
- pending i-485
If my employer terminates my job, where my L1A visa is linked to, can I look for a different job in the USA with my EAD approved form i-765? Do I have some time limitation? Thanks!

I would suggest paying premium fee for I-140. then if it’s approved and i485 pending more than 180 days then you can change jobs (ac21 portability rule)

As @A A said. I'm in same boat, if you were laid off you'd have 60 days to return home. I don't feel secure with the 180 day rule tbh either because it looks tricky to transfer. all about that approval

you can work on EAD but there is very high possibility of I-485 rejection due to I-140 being at risk. After I-485 rejection, the EAD becomes invalid. @A A suggestion is right, but the same or similar job can be complicated as there can be a risk with USCIS agreeing to it if there is more than 50% deviation.
