Anyone waiting for their NIW I-140 at the Nebraska center? I submitted my I-140 and I-485 concurrently in June 2021 and still waiting for a decision. If you’re on the same boat, please share your experience. When can we expect to hear something?

it does seem to take Nebraska about a year to do anything, then in a lot of cases they send an rfe. once the rfe responded to, they seem to make a decision on the i140 in a month or so. Then there is the wait for them to look at the i485. it’s a long process unfortunately for NIW at Nebraska. my PD is October 2020. my i140 was approved end sept 2021. now waiting for i485

it was
considered concurrent as i140 still pending but it was only a week before the i140 was approved. bios done in oct, combo card last week. I still think I have about 6 months to wait as concurrent and non concurrent still seem to take about a year after i140 approved

We submitted i140 on 9th March 2021. No decision yet. We asked Chen Immigration, they said uscis Nebraska center is currently approving Nov 2020 and Dec 2020 cases. You have to wait for a long time unfortunately.

same here. filed may 2021 and a month later 485/765/131. 765/131 approved in november. the rest is dead silent. i can switch jobs and travel with the ead/ap combo card. so i just sit back and wait that they look into this hopefully in the summer. dont get too stressed...

PD Jan 21, 2021. Still waiting. Currently, Nebraska is processing Dec 2020 applications for I140 NIWs. So, you should not expect your I-140 decision any time soon.

appears that if we don’t do concurrent filing it’s better. may be they are processing EAD/ AP faster in that case — based on Mr Gs case above.

@waiting for niw since june: we applied semi-concurrently. I140 in 9th March 2021, and i485, i765, i131 in 4th November 2021.
If your center is Nebraska, concurrently or not doesn't matter.
If your center is Texas, no need to file concurrently as they are approving i140 within 5-8 months.

I filled them together - Texas Center.
I am waiting for my NIW since October 7th, 2020.
The combo card was received in September 2021.
