Thanks, I hope too! The interview was good. I was told that if it were not late in the day, they would allow me to take the oath on the same day. Such delays are unusual for my location, - so I am wondering what is going on and what are my options.

Interviews are short. They normally take 5-15 minutes. Do not be nervous. Just learn the history and civics and be yourself.

They do, but very fast. some interviews are longer than others, but it does not mean longer is worse than shorter or vice-versa.

I did, but they told me to contact them after 90 days. They say that they are still within their timeline and can register a support ticket only after 90 days. They have also replied in writing that they placed me in the system that schedules oath ceremonies and I should wait for the notice.... and contact them in 90 days if I do not receive the notice before that...

No, I did not. even if I would 75 days is a unusual wait time for oath ceremonies for my location. People with name change get a maximum of 6 week wait time.

That's very normal. That means are a human, and that you are excited, and are taking this important step in your life very seriously.

by law USCIS has 120 days from your day of interview to give you a ruling on your application.

Does that mean I better wait for that period or remind them before that? 120 days is not a law, I believe, it is a timeline in USCIS manual.

it is a law as it allows a district court judge to intervene in your case after the 120 days: “Section 336(b) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), 8 U.S.C. § 1447(b), specifically provides for direct judicial review of delays in adjudicating naturalization applications by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).2 It gives a district court jurisdiction to intervene in a case where USCIS has failed to make a decision on the naturalization application within 120 days of the applicant’s “examination” by USCIS.”

I was scheduled and after 2 days it was cancelled. they never reschedule again

No updates, other than USCIS confirmation to my Senator's office that I was approved and should receive the oath scheduling letter in next 40 days. That will roll me over 120 days.

@b patel my dad and I had our interview, my dad oath ceremony was cancelled on March, and I passed my interview on April but I haven't receive any update about my oath ceremony. do you have any news or updates of what happening?

I asked my lawyer he said wait another 30 days if nothing comes up we will find out other way. cancelled since 130 days and interview was completed since 143 days

Omggggg help me i have reacheduled my oath ceremony’s appointment and they sent me the same exact message like we have placed you in the line….. and they sent like you should recieve your nottice within 30 days of its mailing date but stillllll it has beeen 45 days nothing is working out i am super stressed though please somebody help me i even called on uscis number they said like your letter has not been checked yet you’re stilll placed in line like wth what should i do now i neeed my certificate so bad because i reallly neeeeeed to go to my country and then gonna live there for couple of months THIS IS SO INSANE!!! Team- any updates, I have been waiting since May 20th and no response. It says "Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled" since then. My attempts to call USCIS failed so far. infinite wait times and then it will get disconnect. They will push you to go the IVR route and not human assistance. I opted for a name change though which I think was a mistake now.
