connect to a live agent via Emma. when you connect, type up "chat with a live agent" and then select case status. once you are able to talk to an actual person, ask them. also they received my medicals back in March. case was changed to "rfe response received" but no update since then. they are such a mess right now.

yes Evrim. I persistently followed up and managed to get a tier 2 call me and email me a confirmation that my rfe response was received. They received it like 46 days back and since then no update. the online status is still “rfe was sent”. Your’s is like 5months back. that’s ridiculous. what is your category and priority date?

Hi! did u call them? how u know they received your response. for me, I sent and delivered on July 19, until now no update, raise a SR, got response email said: our electronic records do not indicate that we have received in July of 2021.

yes I called them and asked them for tier 2 call back. the tier 2 called me and I asked them to confirm me. they confirmed the receipt over phone and also emailed me for records.

so my case is more complicated. ive been mailed the new one since last week, now still no status update. will call to Tier 2 on Monday.

Hi. You received a “Request for INITIAL Evidence” and that was because you were missing your medical? I got the same but haven’t got the physical letter so I’m wondering if INITIAL RFE could be due to Medical missing?

Mine also is stuck on “request for evidence was sent” two days after they received mine but status never changes. Been waiting for 36 days now… what should I do

Any updates on this? Did anyone know how long it will take for status to be updated and how long should i wait to escalate. I've received RFIE on 24th March, Sent response on 4th April. EB1C

Hi All, My situation is soo pathetic and looking for any kind of useful suggestion or information. My RFE has submitted to USCIS on April 10th and still, the status shows as Request for Additional Evidence Was Sent on Jan 20, 2023. FYI, Mine is H1B 2022 application and I have been waiting from almost 2 years in the process. Will USCIS will update the status as RFE details are received once they receive it or how soon they update the status in the portal? I really thank a lot the right answer provider.
