Maybe because it was VAWA only. They'll likely request fingerprints once the VAWA is approved and they get the application for adjustment of status. That's my guess, anyway. Why did you apply for VAWA only? No work authorization or advance parole?

they do take fingerprints, if they did not take it they might send another request for that

@Kerry S my lawyer told me i can apply for vawa only because I have more then 1 entry, I do not qualify for adjustment of status 😒

@Ana Flores that’s a lie . you need to file I-485 and I-765 concurrently else you’ll have to wait till your Vawa is approved which takes 2-3 years

what does your lawyer mean by “you don’t qualify for adjustment of status”? Are you a terrorist?? You better change that lawyer of yours before they complicate issues for you…Some of these lawyers don’t understand how VAWA works and instead of them to just tell you they can’t handle your case, they collect your money and case more damage to your case… Run!!!

Better go and file your adjustment of status and work authorization IMMEDIATELY!!! Else, you will have to wait for a VERY long time. If care is not taken, you will almost get insane and fall into depression. FILE FOR EVERYTHING, including travel permit.

@Ana Flores I had the same experience a few years ago. It was because I was in removal proceedings so my lawyer told me that it would be safe to file VAWA alone. Your case might be different. But yeah, only pictures and no fingerprints.

I agree with everyone else here...not sure what having more than 1 entry means, but if you were married to a citizen, you can file for everything. If a green card holder, perhaps VAWA alone for now, but that doesn't seem to be the case with you.
