Postponed Oath ceremony
Am I F...g dreaming?!!!🤬😡 My husband's oath ceremony was scheduled for December 1st and our attorney now has to postpone it because he had a traffic ticket, he went to court, he plead not guilty and the officer wasn't during the court, so the judge gave another court day for February 3rd 2022. I was happy and dreaming to have my daughter soon and my documents and now I have to wait again😡😔ðŸ˜

I was thinking if it was better to plead guilty and pay the freaking ticket and bring it to the Oath ceremony. Probably I'm crazy...

when a police officer give you a ticket and plead not guilty it’s not in your records until found guilty at the court? I have my citizenship interview for next month , yesterday a police give me a ticket and today I go to the court and file not guilty and asking for a court date

@ Kiki luis the problem is when you have oath ceremony scheduled, USCIS send you a form with a couple questions about some situations during the period of time between interview and oath ceremony, questions like if you traveled outside the country or any violations, citations, infractions or stuff like that. Even if they still don't know and let's say my husband lies and say nothing happened, if USCIS later find out they can denaturalized you, because you supposed to be honest all the time and even if you had tickets or whatever they only ask you at the oath ceremony for receipts or certified disposition papers proving that you are all good.
