Actually no. VAWA is processing at 30.5 months now. Prima facie gives you the opportunity to get some benefits if needed depending on the state you're in. In some states, you may use it to gain a license or get fafsa etc. I had mine for a year and it expired in August. Haven't received the other one yet and my PD is june 2021

u got a long way to go, the next step is actually getting your work permit if u filed c9.

I filed I-360 along with I-765,I-131 and I-485.My question is I got approved EAD and Advance Parole recently but I have no clue about Prima Facie what’s you guys talking about.EAD and AP could approve without Prima Facie?

@star fruit. Yes you got approved for your ead and AP because you applied for them. Some people don't get a prima facie and then some get it later. At least with your EAD and AP you can work and also travel if needed.

nothing. prima facie doesn’t mean you will get decision soon or you will get approval. It just gives you opportunity to apply government benefits like: driver license, food stamps, etc. I have received 5 Prima facie since 2020 Jan.
