removal proceedings
hi, please can someone advice me on what to do, so I have my I - 360 approved but initially had a pending removal proceeding, and my lawyer recently filed to close the case since I don’t have a hearing date with DHS or Eoir, and it has been 9 months now. I just want to know who to contact in DHS OR EOIR to ask why my case is still pending. please provide some suggestions on how to get a response to close the case so I can reopen my I-485. thanks

@yen D, your lawyer can re-file a motion to terminate your case… that will take a month or two.

@yen I thought your lawyer already filed to close the case. Well we don’t work for the government so I don’t know. How can we answer that question.

I send the PD in February 15 and got the dismissal in October 31st. If you are represented by your lawyer let him contact them, don’t do it by yourself. I understand the frustration but better follow up with your lawyer and ask him to contact either the government attorney or court administrator.
