I have this same concern too. we received rfe on 4th of April but we can’t find the notice in our documents tab. how long did it take for the notice to show in the docs tab for you?

@Dorcas OY We had the same issue initially. Tried contacting USCIS by phone and via online chat and that was awful. No help whatsoever. Luckily, it showed up in the Documents tab in our account like 2 days later. For some reason, it doesn’t show up right away. It took like 2 days maybe 3 for it to show up. I think it was just 2 though if I remember correctly.

@Dorcas OY It should show up by tomorrow. Maybe bc April 4th was a Friday that it won’t show until a business day? I don’t think they allow you to report it missing until like 2 weeks after they send it.

@James morales Yes, we were notified by email as well. What was your petition date? I just checked ours and now it gives us an estimate of 4 weeks until they make a decision. Who knows. Saw 21 months as an estimate and then like a week later we got the RFE letter. 🤣

@Estef Sl Oh no, that’s so long 🥲 what is your service center? We are Nebraska. I don’t understand why they make us wait so long for such a simple resubmission. I hope we all get approvals soon… I see some still waiting like 6 months after responding to the RFE. I would contact the local congressman at that point…this is insane. 🥲

@Mariana , please can you elaborate ? what transalation ? is the marriage certificate(in english ) and Nikah nama not enough? and congrats on approval , also please keep posting details for the upcoming steps which wil help me to do the same for my spouse.Thanks

@om Khan We submitted our marriage certificate without the English translation. We submitted it again (translated to English this time). We have not been approved yet. Still waiting for USCIS to review the resubmission. Not sure how long it will take. 🫢 Be sure to submit the original certified document as well as the translation.

@marina , thank you let me know. However, I have submitted the marriage certificate which is issued by the Govt of Pakistan and also the Nikah nama which is in Urdu. I do not know now which they are asking ? I submitted both of the documents

@om Khan Both are fine as long as you submitted English translations of each (also need to be certified).

@mariana, certified by who? as we married in Pakistan and the marriage certificate is issued by the Govt and its in English and Urdu but the Nikahnama is certified but its in Urdu, also can you please share with the letter or the message which is sent by the USCIS regarding marraige certificate which they sent you ? if its possible please send it to me on email(zakiromama740@gmail.com)
