Request to Expedite
Hello Friends, Can anyone send me a template to request a medical emergency expedite letter for my I-360 and I-485? My case was received in December 2021, and there has been no update since then. I need to visit my father because his health is getting worse. He is having memory problems and was diagnosed with upper gastrointestinal issues, including Erosive Gastropathy and Hiatus Hernia. He is 80 years old. I want to stay with him for a longer period to spend some quality time with him. I already lost my mom 3 years ago when I was here. Can I expedite my case with USCIS based on my father’s condition? Thank you.

[Your Name] [Your Address] [City, State, ZIP Code] [Email Address] [Phone Number] [Date] U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services [Service Center or Field Office Address] [City, State, ZIP Code] Subject: Expedite Request for I-360 and I-485 Applications To USCIS Officer, I am writing to formally request an expedite of my pending I-360 (Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant) and I-485 (Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status) applications, which were received by USCIS in December 2021. My case numbers are [I-360 Case Number] and [I-485 Case Number]. I urgently need to visit my father, who is 80 years old and currently experiencing significant health issues. His condition has deteriorated recently, and he has been diagnosed with upper gastrointestinal problems, including Erosive Gastropathy and Hiatus Hernia. Additionally, he is suffering from memory problems. Due to his advanced age and declining health, I am deeply concerned about his well-being and wish to spend an extended period with him to provide support and care. I already lost my mother three years ago while I was in the United States, and I deeply regret not being able to be with her in her final days. The prospect of losing my father under similar circumstances without being able to spend quality time with him is profoundly distressing. I have attached medical documentation from my father's healthcare providers confirming his diagnoses and the severity of his condition. I respectfully request that USCIS expedite the processing of my applications so that I can travel to be with my father as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. I appreciate your understanding and consideration. Sincerely, [Your Name] [Signature] --- **Attachments:** 1. Medical documentation from [Father’s Doctor/Medical Facility] 2. Copy of I-360 and I-485 receipt notices
