SSN not in the mail
I had a notification today through USPS informed delivery that I have a mail coming soon iinto my mailbox from Social Security Authority, I checked the mail box this evening but there was no mail, meanwhile the approval letter from uscis was in the mail(same informed delivery notification)
Just wondering whether it's yet to be delivered or what?
Yet to get my EAD in the mail too.

make sure ur name is on the mail box ig not yet will not put ur ssc in it they will return it

Don't worry. Sometimes the mail arrives later. Tomorrow or Monday will get that.

sometimes the notifications says it and it delivers the next day or so it’s coming don’t worry

evans Karl ~ Did you get the card yet? I also use the informed delivery svc. The best thing is, most envelopes get scanned so you can see EXACTLY what pieces of your mail got processed through your local post office. Good luck

@KP no they were two scanned envelopes when I looked it up on my dashboard, but only one was delivered that day which was uscis approval letter.. The other mail from SSA wasn’t in the box.

Okay, this has happened to me in the past (not w/important docs). When I get notifications that mail/pkg was supposedly delivered to me or mailbox, I go to my post office that delivers my mail & I request to spk to the manager. I show them the notification & ask them to track the pkg. Every time the manager has located the mail carrier who delivered that mail that day. They can all be reached via cellphone/dispatch as I’ve seen it w/my own eyes & heard the conversations. Often I can get my misdelivered mail the same day if the post office hasn’t closed yet. The manager tells the mail carrier that I’m omw back home & to meet me at my mailbox w/my mail! I live in a big development & the mail is delivered at a mail hutch. Our mail carriers are talking on their phones most times when delivering the mail, so mistakes are often made.

it never came, had to call the local office and ask for it before they sent me the card, I asked them to check whether my name is in their system and they said yes, I then narrated my problem and they sent me another one
