I did not get any email and text either. I did receive the I-693 and currently waiting for an update for my interview date.

I didn’t get this text, but I received a deficiency notice couple weeks ago to bring my medical to my interview which is the end of next month

I used FedEx . I could have used usps too . general rule is if the address you are sending it to has a P O Box , use USPS otherwise use FedEx or USPS. I sent mine to Texas service center address on the tip tight oh my rfe notice , that address had no P O Box

@Mr Uz: my attorney just submitted my I-693 form today afternoon. She used fedex overnight. It's such relief. My attorney said I can send my dependents' medical exam withou RFE, but I decided to submit me only.

out of curiosity, I see most of you guys are preferring FedEx or UPS. Is there any reason for not sending it by USPS? Whereas, we all received our RFEs via USPS.

usps is fine. just make sure it has tracking

I’ve sent mine through USPS overnight, brought to the post office at 4pm, delivered to the Nebraska PO Box at 10am the day after

I ‘ve sent my yesterday around 4pm and they received today at 11:58am. I have no issue at all.

I have my I-485 approved on the EB2 process and now I got the request for I-693. I am wondering what is the next step. I heard that they have a lot of cards to be issued until October, first.

Not on 485, but today I got an RFIE on my son's I-131. Whereas, my spouse's and I received our approvals 2 months ago.

@KK - I got medical RFE for the 485 form earlier like everybody else in this comment section. Today I received an RFE for I-131 for my son. Just got the notification only, haven't received the letter yet.

All - Sorry for the confusion, I have no updates on the response submitted for 485 medical RFE. I was just mentioning about the RFE notification that I received today over I-131.

slowly beginning to realize those that got rfes on July 31 would have been green on that day if they either interfiled their medicals or submitted them with the application. it’s such a cold feeling….

My hope is that they want to process all those cases before October 1st, when their quarter ends. Otherwise, a lot of green will be wasted.

I have 3 friends got approval after few days RFER, but they responed to their field office only. Not sure why cases response to field office, the others response to service center like TSC, but definitely the field office process very fast. They responded RFE after me but already approved.

I’m not even considering field offices at this point, they approve within the week of receiving rfe response on average

Folks who received thier RFEs from the field office receives the responses much faster. You are right, field offices processing is much faster than the main office. unfortunately most of us received the RFEs from TSC. 😔

there’s finally an approval from one of the mass rfe cases sent out in July 31. but it seems his was triggered due to service request he placed for his 765

Two of my friends received their GC approval today. One got medical RFE from the field office (he didn't submit his medical with I-485) two weeks back and today he received the notification of approval. Another friend directly received his GC approval because he did submit his medical with I-485. I haven't heard any update from the candidates who received their RFE on July 31st.

No, up to now i don't know if anybody who received the text message from USCIS on 7/30 about medical RFE got approved GC. I'm thinking the mass of RFE was triggered by bot and no officer is actually active to work on our RFE responses.

Yeah, if the intention was to approve a bunch of GC before the quarter ends it should be happening long this month. It is unlikely they release all at once now. But, I am keeping believe.

yes, I believe it was system generated RFEs not sent by the actual officer. Because I shouldn't have received the RFE because I have submitted my medical with I-485 form and it wasn't expired either. Folks who received the RFE from the field offices have received their GCs in a week or two after their medical submission.

Yes @SB H. Two of my friends got approved last week, both RFEs from FO, after 2-3 days they responded RFE, they got approval. Obviously their RFEs were requested by human.

The question is. Why does the Center office are so slow down?

We just got approved (Nebraska office) and we are celebrating! It was a long and draining process, and I can’t wait to delete all the USCIS related apps from my phone! ❤️

according to the RFE, #0448. idk if this piece of information would change anything for you though, as I’m not sure whether the same officer would process my case after the RFE
