@Danny p it's converted from f2a to ir1 on very next day of N400 document upload. and om next week NVC case created.

my DQ for f2a is on april 2020 and i m still waiting for interview letter. and couple days ago I become us citizen now i m confused what to do keep the f2a or upgrade to ir1 because my Document is already qualified.

@Danny Patel yes you can upgrade via public inquiry form, it will benefit to your spouse, once it's converted to ir1 ,your interview will be schedule with In 2 months and you're spouse will get visa based on usa citizenship.i have seen such case.

In approval notice you can see, visa category like spouse of usa citizen. it means file is upgraded from f2a to ir1.

then you need to draft formal application letter to upgrade your case from f2a to ir1. and upload this document with N-400 letter scanned copy on below link if you have not done yet. You will get document format to get your case upgrade. it will be better for spouse get early interview call. I upgrade my case Ir1 from f2a it was upgraded on may 6 2022 after that still i was waiting for interview calls its been 3 months I don't get interview call

I became US citizen . I want to upgrade my spouse case. It is in USCIS . It is not approved since more than 17 months at California Service Center. My embassy location is Mumbai, India My husband is in Chicago We have queried already but getting standard response of backlog in interview. It's really frustrating now.

Hello. I have a query I am concerned about . Please help ! On Ceac portal my all docs were complete & approved on 25-May-22 when my category was F2A. The petitioner got it upgraded to IR1 on 6-Feb-23. Since then in ceac portal I again received another message stating "All docs are complete & approved since 6-feb-2023". My concern is Why did NVC give me a new date ?? Is it normal for everyone who get their visa categories upgraded , to get a totally New documentarily qualified date ?
