we are waiting since 5.5 months since rfe was Received 😬

I had a service request to USCIS for my case since there was no response after 60+ days of RFE submitted. I've been 90 days so far after RFE submission.

@joshua same here so i guess i have to wait till the 90 day period to get a response?you gave me little hope lol

I have also 90 days since I submitted my response. I have not heard from them yet only the message that they received the document. Do I need to wait for a response or letter from USCIS?

@joshua Wynn i did a service request to with an agent and i got a confirmation number he told me within 30 days i should get a response but i see i might have to wait till 90 days like you did for the officer to continue on my case

@Er Ka you dint put in a service request? by the 60th day if you dint hear anything you were supposed to put in a inquiry

Joshua I have not done a service request. I did not knew that. can I do it now? I have also done biometrics. have you done biometrics too?

Apparently the wait after they send you an RFE is long. Although according to what I have seen on this site, some have had their cases resolved in a short time after sending their response. I would like to know what criteria they handle in these cases, do they have a certain time to resolve after an RFE or maybe not. They sent me an RFE at the end of June and then I responded and it was received on July 13, as I see in the system my case is being worked on my case again and they will let me know the decision they make or if they need something more.

@julissa mine been saying that since the day they received it if you havent heard 60 days after rfe received people that got the rfe were supposed to put in a case inquiry it even says on uscis .

@blessing in disguise, I have requested a review of my case more than 1 week ago. From what I see it can take 1 month to get a response.

to all: We need to raise a service request if we dont hear anything from USCIS after 60 days of RFE submission. That's is our right! If we dont have service request, our cases are dormant in their stacked piles of cases.

@Joshua Wynn. That is a sad reality. The processing centers are super saturated with cases, they can't cope. So there is no other way than to be behind with our case and send requests for review or investigation of our cases when 60 days have passed.

Joshua I did send today a request because it has been 98 days since I send the document after reference

after multiple service request. i received the same response as you Joshua. they said they will make a decision within 90 days on my case.

did they give you a time frame for your decision Joshua?
