USPS delayed
I have received my copy of the approved combo card notice and the original has been “sent” to my lawyers office. I’m desperately waiting to have it in hand in order to obtain my drivers license. already received my SSN. now there’s an issue with USPS. I retrieved my tracking # and usps reflects it’s been delayed and been stuck in transit at Tennessee (I’m in Georgia) for 2 weeks now. I’ve called usps and they gave me a case#, only to call me back from my local usps stating what already reflects from tracking. she has now sent me to fill out a “lost package request”. it’s a lot of back and forth, I wish they would just be responsible/accountable for the package and provide an update or escalate it themselves.

if you don’t get it by a certain time, you can let USCIS know that you didn’t receive it, I think they’ll resend it

Mine is also delayed. Yesterday I received an update that it arrived in Atlanta but no movement today. I might create an inquiry if I dont get an update tomorrow

@Henry H thanks, I filled it out! @Tash B hoping to avoid that but if they don’t sort it out by the 13th USCIS notice says to contact them.

I had a similar issue with my EAD card. The status case showed that the card had been delivered in January 3rd. I retrieved the USPS tracking number from USCIS and the status of the delivery showed “moving through network” for about 2 weeks. I made a lost package inquiry. 4 days later the package moved to another USPS facility but still showing “moving through network”. Finally my card was delivered on February 6th. That’s a total of 34 days to receive my card!

@Marco Ochoa that is insane for priority mail! and to see it’s so common with USCIS documents is very strange. I’ve ordered nonsense like clothing or perfume priority usps and that arrives on time.

update*** my lawyer ended up receiving the card and sent it to me overnight and I now have it in hand. USPS still has it reflecting delayed/stuck in transit, a very weird turn of events.

@oh Canada I haven't received mine. I called and opened an inquiry this morning...hope they will look into it and call back in two days as they said.

@sato sato I only knew because both forms got updated approved back to back and the new card mailed notification only came on the 765. given they were both at Vermont and also biometrics were only applied on my 765. also I had filled all 4 forms concurrently etc.
