@N F if your GC is still pending but you get the EAD, does that mean you are still restricted? do you have to apply for a new SSN with your EAD card even though your I-485 is still pending

It is basically saying that you can work and have ANY job. You will have that note removed when you receive your green card. Right you, you are basically on a probationary period.

@Jessica V if you apply for Eb1, you get approved for your I-765 but your I-485 is still pending, can you use your I-765 to apply to jobs, is there a restriction on the I-765? will you need to apply for a new ssn then or wait until your I-485 gets approved

If you were approved for the I-765 and your green card is pending, your SSC will say what Mk’s says. Once you are approved with your green card, you will receive a new one that doesn’t have that same restriction. @V O

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I hope it doesn’t have any restrictions for working only with sponsored employers. This SSN and EAD is acceptable for any job
