@C M did you get SSN, EAD, AP?
C MJan 3, 2025
@Mrkvica M. I’ve only gotten Primie Facie. I already have a work SS due to being a dreamer but it’s expired..
Mrkvica M.Jan 3, 2025
@C M what is work SS? you should have gotten EAD already if you were married to a citizen. Do you have a lawyer? Were you married to LPR or citizen?

@Mrkvica M. So I came in legally at 5 years old as a “DACA” recipient which gave me an EAD as long as DACA was not expired which it is now. my lawyer only helped me process VAWA and they have only gave me a notice saying my fees were waived around Sept 2nd 2022 and gave me Premie Facie for health insurance and benefits but I haven’t heard from USCIS since
C MJan 4, 2025
@Mrkvica M. yes I’m still married to the US citizen but never processed anything in behalf of that marriage until she beat me and went to jail for it, then I processed VAWA.

@all is well is this a confirmed fact? where did you see this? :(
Mrkvica M.Jan 4, 2025
@C M average processinf time is 40.5 months BUT, your lawyers should have filed for EAD so you can work legally and you should have given them fingerprints already. Did you file for I-485 as well?
C MJan 5, 2025
ahh okay so about 1200 days.. I’m almost at 900 days! 🥲 do you think this new administration will affect anything for people that are currently processing? @Mrkvica M.
C MJan 5, 2025
@Mrkvica M. I will call my lawyer tomorrow if they can file for EAD. they sent me a notice that they will be reusing my fingerprints from all the processing I did for my “DACA” dreamers program. no I did not file for I-485 is that for citizenship through marriage?
Mrkvica M.Jan 5, 2025
@C M i-485 is citizenship thru vawa, yes. And please ask your lawyer about EAD so you can work legally.
I waited more than 2000 days on a decision so I don't know what will happen this month and in coming months but it will be all right
C MJan 6, 2025
@Mrkvica M. Don’t I have to wait till VAWA gets approved to be able to apply for I-485 or EAD? :o
oh wow you’re 2000+ days in the process right now? :o sending prayers to you and your family for an approval soon 🙏🏽
Mrkvica M.Jan 6, 2025
@C M you don't have to wait till vawa gets approved if you were married to a citizen
C MJan 7, 2025
@Mrkvica M. what if my soon do be ex wife doesn’t want to sign off on the I-485
Mrkvica M.Jan 7, 2025
@C M your ex wife has nothing to do with I-485. You applied for vawa and you can apply for I-485 thru vawa
Mrkvica M.Jan 7, 2025
@C M your lawyer should have told you (explained) how this process works and he/she should have filed for EAD and AP and I-485. Does your lawyer have good reviews?
