did you get your gc ead and Ap what is your PD

Got only EAD and AP was really hoping to get my GC this year. PD is December 2012.

Exactly right, this is such a shit show.

I think they still count each visa individually and not for a family, however I don't understand how the visas are exhausted they had a surplus last month.

did you submit your medical along with i485 or got an rfe

ya Dennis we are waiting for rfe I called and uscis lady told us we will get it in next few weeks today morning our case was transferred from Nebraska to nbc

Safa I files the full AOS at NBC in Apr 12th of this year.

Did anyone case get updated or move ahead. I am stuck in the 50s for more than a month now.

I checked with Agent today and they told my 485 application was transferred today from NBC to my local San Antonio FO. so I hope things are still moving and we might have a chance before end of fiscal year! not sure though if they can give the GC since dates have retrogessed 😌

@Phoenix17 what do you mean by agent? Also we have till the end of this month before the date retrogresses.

@Phoenix yes same happened with us today morning it changed to FO when I spoke with the lady she said she didn’t see anything on the file that would prevent it from being processed . I asked her even if date retrogressed will they able to issue GC she said yes they should be able to

@Swarna how did you know to check with the agent? Did you see any activity on your case that made you call USCIS? My case still says "Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken".

@Dennis - I called and spoke with USCIS agent, so there is still some hope till 30 September!🤞

yes my case changed to moved to new office that has jurisdiction over your case which changed from yest status which was new office changed originally in Nebraska went to nbc yesterday today went from nbc to field office so I called and asked

no you can still call and ask because sometimes you get a decision straight from nbc if you don’t have a need for medical rfe we are waiting for medical rfe

I think they exhausted EB1 EB2 and EB3 for 22 FY. we will need to wait for October 1st so they can start process. by the time we may get AP at least.

It took mine 2 weeks between EAD and AP. I did request an Expedite for my case and my wife's case.

it’s gonna be a month and no AP yet I am afraid to raise any requests because the other one is in process

@dennis - did ur EAD & your wife’s EAD got approved together on same date or separate dates? I’m asking as my wife is primary and her status has changed to new card is being produced but mine is still stuck at Fees were waived!

I think my wife's status changed the next day. They were approved one day apart.

It could be because of cases jumping over yours, have you looked at what position your case is in? It tells you if cases moved ahead.

good news I saw the Sam shabib video on YouTube they are predicting this will clear up by mid 2023 and the dates will go forward and those in queue should get it by end of this year

I think you will, it's an automated process after EAD to get the AP.

I’ve noticed cases keep getting added I was 32 out of 101 now I’m 30 out of 110 cases

at least you moved ahead by 2, in my queue cases get added and I keep moving back.

Actually I need to travel to India soon for an emergency and can't find H1B interview dates. I will most probably have to use my AP to enter.

I see. I heard you can use h1b even you use AP.however, you have to return back to your employer. there is a memo about it.
